  New York screenings April-May 2001JEUNE, DURE ET PURE !

Christian Lebrat, filmmaker and photographer, is the author of Peter Kubelka (1990) and The Walden Book (with Pip Chodorov, 1997), manages Les Editions Paris Expérimental, exclusively devoted to the avant-garde and experimental cinema, and has organized several film retrospectives including "Paris as Seen by the Avant-Garde Cinema (1923-1983)", the first retrospective of films by Jonas Mekas in France (with Danièle Hibon, 1994) and „Jeune, dure et pure! Une histoire du cinéma d‚avant-garde et expérimental en France (with Nicole Brenez, 2000).
